Dinosaur Science Museum

When you visit the Dinosaur Science Museum, you have the unique opportunity to interact with one of America's largest dinosaur fossil collections. It's here, on the campus of Southwestern Adventist University, that over 30,000 dinosaur bones (excavated in Wyoming) are cleaned, cataloged and preserved.

30,000 + Bones!

With a world-class collection of over 30,000 bones that continues to grow each summer, we now house one of the largest dinosaur fossil collections in the United States! Come see our collection and learn how fossils are excavated, processed and preserved.

By registering for a VIP tour, you will have the opportunity to walk through the vaults and touch real fossils!

Admission Is Free!

Your FREE tour runs around 45 minutes and is led by a student paleontologist.

Beginning with a video that takes you to "The Dig", you'll have the opportunity to understand the steps and processes taken to excavate, catalog and preserve these artifacts, peer through a window that provides a view of the massive 30,000+ fossil collection and experience the scale and size of dinosaurs!

By the time you depart, you are bound to have an appreciation and understanding of the research and work that goes into preserving fossils.

National Recognition

We were recently recognized in the Journal of Paleontological Sciences for our work on fossils from the Hell Creek and Lance Formations, which are some of the most fossil-rich bonebeds in the United States, located in Wyoming, Montana and South Dakota.
